John Charles The Gentle Giant Trust

The Gentle Giant Trust - John Charles

"It was just my nature that was the way I was brought up. My father always used to say to me don't kick em just play football. If I have to knock them down to play well I don't want to play this game. Players have to realise that the public do not want to pay good money to see pettiness and childishness. If I get kicked I'll take it, but I won't give it back"
John Charles.

Sportscasts are proud to support "The Gentle Giant Trust " and its major international touring exhibition celebrating the life of John Charles with a range of Sportscasts the proceeds of which will go to John's Charity.

"In our street if somebody had a new football at christmas.....everybody was his friend"
John Charles.
